Brand guide

The Anfang mark

One canonical geometry, a single warm accent, and a wordmark that stays out of the way. Here's how the brand is built — and how to keep it consistent.

Logo

The full lockup pairs the mark with the “Anfang.” wordmark. Use the mark alone in tight spaces, and the mono treatment on busy or single-colour surfaces.

Construction — “A as a portal”

The mark is an A whose crossbar opens into a portal arch, drawn on one 96-unit grid so spacing stays symmetric at every size.

Anfang
  • Grid: 96 × 96 units
  • Apex: 48 / 18
  • Feet: 20 / 78 and 76 / 78
  • Portal arch: chord 34 → 62, clear of the legs
  • Inset: ~14u balanced padding on all sides
  • Stroke: 7u regular · 10.5u bold (≤24px)
  • The A follows currentColor; the arch carries the fixed Sunrise accent

Colour

Sunrise means exactly that — daybreak: the start of the day, the start of the workday, the beginning the name Anfang stands for. Every workday starts with Anfang. As the fixed master-brand accent — the arch, the wordmark dot, the glow — it stays constant even when a tenant re-themes their own --brand colour.

accent 1–3

Sunrise (--sunrise) is the brand-owned accent and is independent of the per-tenant --brand token, so the Anfang mark stays on-brand on any white-labelled surface.

Don'ts

A few ways to keep the mark recognisable.

  • Don't recolour the portal arch — it's always Sunrise (or mono).
  • Don't stretch, rotate or skew the mark.
  • Don't add shadows, gradients or outlines to the mark.
  • Don't crowd it — keep the built-in clearspace.
  • Don't rebuild the geometry by hand — use the AnfangMark component.
  • Don't swap the wordmark typeface.
